We propose the use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon technology and low power sensor nodes, coupled with sensible placement of computational support and data storage near to the sensor network (a Fog computing paradigm) to provide a seamless parking solution capable of providing parking maintainers with accurate determinations of where vehicles are parked within the lot.
