Microwave based industrial furnace has certain advantages over conventional blast furnaces which is discussed in quite detail in this paper along with the efficiency of microwave based melting furnace based on the correct selection of susceptor material. This paper discusses the criteria for the selection of correct susceptor material based on the comparative study of different available susceptor for this purpose.
