This terminology was initially used by many researchers and includes study in several fields like physics, chemistry, biology, material science, engineering, and computer science. In recent year’s nanotechnology has brought evolution in the current era of various applications. In this paper, we explore the developments and advancement due to nanotechnology which provides considerable opportunity for the development of smaller, faster, lighter, and reliable nanocomputers. This paper is concerned with the top-down approach and the bottom-up fabrication approaches used in the development of nanotechnology that directly affects the modern computer design and architecture. In this paper we have highlighted the role of nanotechnology in computers science and the current development, opportunities occurred in recent years. Here we also discuss the use of Nanotubes, Quantum dots in computers, in place of the silicon chips.
