As an effort to improve the performance of the IRA-based TRN, we have proposed a novel measurement model which utilizes three measurements. This paper addresses the preliminary study to quantify the effect of the IRA measurement on the filtering results by analyzing the amount of information inherent in the IRA measurements. This study gave the information theoretic background of the proposed method.
