Road surface condition must be closely monitored and checked, as sub-standard roads with many potholes and cracks can result in damages in the vehicles as well as accidents on the roads due to the dis-balancing of vehicles. Smartphone sensors, tablets with high capacity to sense the road infrastructure with the help of various sensors have supplied the ideas to efficiently tackle several real-life problems. Using smartphone sensors, we devised a system for finding potholes on the road surface. The accelerometer and gyroscope measurements from mobile sensors are collected using a flutter-based android application. We find out the precise place of potholes on the street floor with the aid of using reading and spotting styles from accelerometer and gyroscope readings from cellphone sensors and storing those facts in a database.
