While the widely used heart sound detection methods always need complex signal processing and also require contact sensors. In this work, the feasibility of contactless detection of heart sounds based on Doppler radar sensor is demonstrated through experiments. A custom-designed 24G DC-coupled continuous-wave radar sensor, ECG device and PCG sensor were simultaneously employed to verify the arguments.
