A beamforming system can consist of microstrip antenna, butler matrix circuit, and switching circuit which is the focus of this paper with SP4T (Single Pole Four Throw) switching design. ADS (Advance Design System) software is used to design the circuit which has the frequency range of 2.3 – 2.4 GHz. The SP4T simulation result have the approximate return loss value of −20 dB and the approximate insertion loss value of −7 dB at frequency of 2.35 GHz. The measurement result shows the return loss value of −13,48 dB and the insertion loss values range of (−11,403 dB) - (−5,936 dB). The circuit is active when there is no DC voltage supplied.
