Although market-based approach is promising in the researches for effective resource allocation and control on smart girds, its effective and flexible implementation is crucial. In this paper, we present a prototyping environment to utilize both market-based approaches (e.g., auctions) and multiagent-based approaches (e.g., ACL-based complex communications) for controlling middle-scale smart grids.
