Aatma Nirbhar Bharat through Social Entrepreneurship
As the world faces the tragic attack of corona virus in the year 2020, all the business activities have come to a halt in most of the countries of the world. The most advanced nations like US, Italy, Japan, Russia, Germany Australia etc., were no exceptions to the wearing out of medical facilities at the very hit of corona virus. All the economies, developed or developing, have been facing economic slowdown across the globe. To reinstate the state of economy, Japan announced to spend 21.1 per cent of its GDP on Covid-19 related economic stimulus measures, United States declared a package of 13.3 percent of its GDP, Australia announced 10.8 per cent of its GDP and Germany around10.7 per cent of its GDP. India, also, declared a special economic stimulus package worth Rs 20 lakh crore, worth about 10 percent of its GDP but with a distinct commitment of making herself self-reliant in the backdrop of economic slump caused by Covid-19. The current research study aims at identifying the ways of achieving the objectives of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, to identify various challenges in achieving these objectives and to suggest the way out for achieving this monumental objective. The nature of present study is descriptive and exploratory and is based on secondary data.
