Control-based analog-to-digital conversion without sampling and quantization
A new approach to analog-to-digital conversion is proposed. The analog part of such a converter is a continuous-time linear system/filter that is subject to digital control; the digital part infers the signal based only on the digital control. An exact transfer-function analysis is possible.
