QoS mechanisms in the LTE network can be implemented, for example, in the radio interface. In the article, a new analytical model for a determination of traffic characteristics of RT and NRT traffic streams serviced in the LTE radio interface is proposed. The model has been validated by a number of simulation experiments carried out by the authors. Modelling of the LTE radio interface for NRT traffic
