Prototype of Emigration and Integration in Balkan: A Case of Albanian Emigrants in Turkey

Emigration phenomenon is one of the most debated topics in today world. The today Europe has been faced with different movement of refugees and emigrants form different countries. One of these countries has been Albania. More than 25 years, as a sending country Albanian emigration phenomenon has been on the focus of these debates. Debates more than discussions about hosting, has been on the integration of Albanian emigrants on receiving society. These debates have been always done by representatives of receive countries, and rarely by Albanian representatives. But the last years, several academicians have been focusing on research in Albanian emigration phenomenon form different perspective. This article, will analyze the level of social integration of Albanian emigrants (emigrants after 1990) in hosted society such as Turkey. Based on the statement of this study, Albanian emigrants have a regrating and a high level of integration in Turkish society. Data collection done by this research in Turkey (field study in Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa, 2015, reflected on the book of Sociology of emigration and social integration,) have occurred by the quantitative approach and analyzed by SPSS. The results of social integration of Albanian emigrants appear quite equilibrium integration that shows the high level of emigrants’ integration in Turkish society.
