In contemporary terminal antenna technology there is an increasing demand for single fed antennas operating in more than two frequency bands allocated in a broad frequency range (from about 850 MHz up to several GHz). We present an original design of a small sized antenna which is to operate in several frequency bands and to generate multiple linear polarization. One of the most preferable method for the development of small planar antennas is the use of a short connected to the antenna element and the ground. In this way, the conductive planar elements - sometimes as small as 0. 1 wavelength - are still capable of radiating sufficiently electromagnetic energy. The form and position of the short (posts), as well as the position of the feeding probe, exert a strong effect on the electrical properties of the antenna.
