In India, the untreated sewage is the major cause of pollution water sources causing various diseases including diarrhea.The proposed research deals with the blocked sewage system and solving the problem of blockage faster based on IoT devices. Pressure sensor on the bottom as well as on the top of the manhole cover are used to predict the sewage blockage and water logging problem. When the water level rises in the sewage, the pressure inside the manhole gradually increases.When the sewage water starts building up the pressure and reaches at a certain point (threshold limit), pressure sensor (P1) beneath the manhole cover will be triggered and an alert message will be raised in the service cooperation through phone application.
