The method that can be used in assessing road conditions is the SDI (Surface Distress Index) method, then the results of this assessment can be used as attributes in a road network map, namely by entering these values into a GIS-based thematic map, so that information on road conditions can be easily accessed. easily obtained when the user accesses the location of the road on the map of the existing road network. The initial step taken is to conduct a road condition survey on all roads under the authority of the Palembang City government based on the Palembang Mayor's Decree in 2011.
