MAKSIMUM MASLAHAH DALAM PENGELUARAN KONSUMSI

This study aims to empirically examine the behavior of Muslim consumers at Bukittinggi City in order to maximizing maslahah in their consumption expenditures. Maslahah only can be obtained by doing halal goods consumption, unexcessive consumption, and social consumption for the afterlife by helping people in need by spending zakat, infaq and sadaqah . Field survey was used in this study by distributing questionnaires to Muslim consumers who live in Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra Province. Descriptive statistics used to process the data that obtained, and then analyzed using existing theories. The result shown that Muslim consumers in Bukittinggi City had already maximized maslahah in consumption expenditure by consuming halal goods, unexcessive in consumption, and doing social consumption for the afterlife by helping people in need by spending zakat , infaq and sadaqah .
