In this case, it is very useful to define simple indices to determine distribution network reliability, and avoid terrible computation of indices. In this paper, a self-organizing competition ANN classifier was built to estimate load reliability of distribution network, with redefining indices, which combined reliability and topological structure of distribution network, and reflected the load failure rate.
