For this reason, this paper presents the systematization of an educational innovation experience using a case method technique in the software development of a program study close to computer science at the Universidad Católica del Norte. For students related to computer project courses, it is essential to install learning strategies that simulate real scenarios. Specifically, we present a systematization that refers to developing a Management Information Systems (MIS) in a course of the Management Information and Control Engineering program study. In this systematization, the description and the main results of implementing the educational innovation focused on a collaborative learning strategy in conjunction with a case method.
