A strong technique for a wide range of applications of various needs has arisen as WSN is regarded important in all fields. But a few obstacles still remain until a mature technology finally emerges. The energy limitation is one of the major concerns in sensor nodes, where batteries are the primary source of power. A vast majority of work has been carried out in this context in order to provide a wide range of energy efficiency approaches. In this work, we adopt a method to find the effects of parameters contributing to energy consumption in WSNs using an optimal energy modelling. A dynamic tree routing protocol with convex hull optimization is adopted. These techniques are adopted to lower the energy consumption while the packet is carried between the source and destination nodes. The study also maintains the trade-off between other network metrics like network throughput and energy lifetime.
