A variety of new multipath routing protocols targeted at the ad hoc networking environment have been proposed. In this paper we have considered a very well-known multipath routing protocol called ad hoc on-demand multipath distance vector routing (AOMDV) on both MAC layers, the standard IEEE 802.11 and a TDMA MAC protocol called evolutionary-TDMA (E-TDMA).
