Here in this study we try to investigate the level of d dimer in the diabetic patient in comparison to non-diabetic subject. There was significant increase in the level of d dimer in the diabetic group. The other arm of the study is to compare the diabetic group with no clinical evidence of coronary artery disease and diabetics with documented IHD.
