The platforms 17 may be provided with holes for a tool to depress the plate 20 for removal of the blades. To balance the rotor, the combined weight of the plate 20, spring housing 22, 23, and spring 21 may equal the weight of the metal removed to produce the slot 14. Alternatively, two slots, diametrically opposed, each with its own closure member may be provided.
