DSTATCOM in multi bus system is capable of reducing the losses and hence improving the voltage regulation. This paper deals with voltage source converter based DSTATCOM, for compensation of active and reactive power in distribution system. The voltage source converter (of DSTATCOM) is controlled by controlling the dc link voltage.
