Adopting the empirical method of literature analysis, questionnaire survey, and participating in professional seminars in this article, it is explored the current situation of the university students’ learning initiative, and analyzed the motivations that affect the learning initiative. The survey results show that there are obvious differences in the subjects and grades in the learning initiative of college students, so it is not enough to rely on a single force to improve the learning initiative of students.
