Plates are the most used osteosynthesis implants for fracture fixation. The type of plate used as a computational domain in this study is the 3.5 limited contact dynamic compression plate (LC-DCP). First, a model of a four-point bending test was implemented. Subsequently, the plate was attached to a simplified model of a bone fracture, with a screw inserted in each hole.
