A novel synchronization and detection algorithm called energy offset based scheme is investigated and used in the receiver. This scheme aims at reducing power consumption and simplifying hardware complexity of the receiver. The prototype of the receiver's baseband is implemented on FPGA, with the design of FSMs in the controller.
