In this paper, we improve the quality of H.264/SVC video transmission by using the Space Time Block Code (STBC) technique. STBC is a technique to increase the reliability of the wireless transmission by transmitting multiple copies of the signal along multiple transmit antennas and is thus suitable for the need of H.264/SVC. We compared STBC with conventional SISO and MIMO techniques using the IEEE 802.11ac standard. 摘要
