INVENTION: a study of counterpoint structure description
We propose a multimedia script language named "Meta Script" which describes the structures of movies based on the counterpoint theory in music. As a case study, we describe a structure of Bach's "3 Part Invention No. 4" with Meta Script, and produce a movie according to the script. From this experiment we confirm that Meta Script works well as a counterpoint structure description language for image expression in movies.
