A sample of 304 children of both sexes, from 7 to 14 years of age, attending public and private schools, were evaluated by ZSC, considering 70 variables of the test. Data analysis incorporated descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA (Tukey post hoc test), t Student test and Cohen's test. The results showed significant differences that allowed sample division into three groups. Eleven variables showed significant differences between groups with moderate to large effect sizes. The most evident aspect was the developmental cognitive evolution, corroborating findings in the literature.
