Due to its flexibility, it explains a dynamic system better than integer-order model does. In this study, fractional-order model is applied in model identification of electro-hydraulic actuator system and the performance is compared with integer-order model. First-order until third-order model of both models were evaluated using output-error method. The models were validated based on their best-fit and independence test.
