A new extension for the HEVC was released to target screen content video due to their special nature. Screen content sequences are limited in colors besides they have sharp edges and complex structure. The new incorporated tools for screen content coding increase the encoding time which affects the practical implementation of the encoder. In this paper, a new fast scheme is proposed for fast screen-content encoder by skipping unnecessary mode testing. The algorithm is simulated using HEVC screen content software tool HEVC-16.7+SCM 6. 高效视频编码(High Efficiency Video Coding, HEVC)是最新的视频编码标准,它采用复杂的技术来实现高压缩比。由于HEVC的特殊性质,针对屏幕内容视频发布了HEVC的新扩展。屏幕内容序列除了具有尖锐的边缘和复杂的结构外,在颜色上也是有限的。新纳入的屏幕内容编码工具增加了编码时间,影响了编码器的实际实现。本文提出了一种跳过不必要的模式测试的快速屏幕内容编码器方案。该算法采用HEVC屏幕内容软件工具HEVC-16.7+SCM 6进行仿真。它节省了26.24%的编码时间,而BD-Rate仅提高了1.15%。
