The Piezoelectric sensor works by converting the mechanical energy (which is created by pressure) into electrical energy. The electricity is produced by the pressure, vibration on the piezoelectric sensor which is placed in roads or pathway. When the vehicle moves sensor generates electrical energy by using the pressure of the vehicle’s weight.
