However, traditional courseware authoring tools can not provide the required production rate to match the needs of courseware. In the Multimedia Information Research Lab, we are developing a 3 Dimensional Multimedia Interactive Courseware Authoring (3D MICA) system that visualizes the integration of media objects in 3 dimensional space to resolve the traditional multimedia courseware authoring problems. We describe a method on how to increase the production rate of courseware by representing all three of: spatial structure, temporal structure, and behavioral structure in multimedia interactive courseware together in the 3D scenario structure.","PeriodicalId":359446,"journal":{"name":"CCECE '97.
