The objective of this paper is to reflect the reality of the accreditation process of the engineering careers of the National University of Asuncion on the central campus of San Lorenzo, by the National Agency for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education (ANEAES, Paraguay). In order to achieve this objective, a documentary review and the opinions of the different actors involved in the processes were taken into account. The type of research used was descriptive, non-experimental design and the case study method was used. The population and the sample were the deans, managers, teachers and graduates of the careers.
