Shielding Effectiveness of a Rectangular Enclosure
This paper presents the results of a careful ex perimental study of the coupling of electromagnetic energy into the interior of a rectangular shielded en closure. This study includes swept frequency electric field insertion loss measurements from 25 to 250 MHz taken at a distance of six feet from the enclosure with the receiving sensor located at various positions within the chamber. It is the objective of this study to quantitatively show how the shielding effectiveness of a rectangular shielded enclosure will vary as the location of measuring antenna inside the room is changed.
