Thus, one of the objectives was to develop some pedagogical practices of interpretation and resolution of Mathematics issues addressed in the Brazil Test, having as target audience students of the 5th (fifth) year of the initial series of the State School of Primary Education Joao Goulart of the municipality of Sao Borja / RS. This work was based on Mathematics Reference Matrix, made available by the Ministry of Education and Culture - MEC. The activities carried out in the project started with a study on the themes and descriptors taken into account in the document, then the activities carried out in the school began with the resolution of questions for which pedagogical alternatives were presented through practical activities that had as objective to improve the interpretation of Mathematical questions and the understanding of the concepts in the area. portuguesO presente trabalho refere-se a uma experiencia obtida, a partir de um projeto de extensao realizado por academicos do curso de Licenciatura em Matematica do Instituto Federal Farroupilha, campus Sao Borja. Assim, um dos objetivos era desenvolver algumas praticas pedagogicas de interpretacao e resolucao de questoes de Matematica abordadas na Prova Brasil, tendo como publico-alvo alunos do 5o (quinto) ano das series iniciais da Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Joao Goulart do municipio de Sao Borja/RS. Este trabalho tomou como base as questoes da Matriz de Referencia de Matematica, disponibilizado pelo Ministerio da Educacao e Cultura – MEC.
