The scheme FDI based on observers that using to bank of linear observers for residues generation, switched by a switching law, dependent of time and the output of system. This piecewise linear state observer estimate the angular velocities of the aircraft. The dynamic model of the F-16 is considered as a set of linear models, linearized around of an operating point.
