We used data from firms operating in Iron and Steel Industry sector listed on Borsa Istanbul for the period 2010-2017. The results show that current ratio has a negative correlation with profitability. In this study, positive and significant relationships were determined between the asset profitability and the acid test ratio, the cash ratio, the current assets/total assets ratio, the turnover rate of the operating capital and the turnover rate of the receivables. This study aims to examine the effects of working capital management on firm’s profitability.
