8. Grenzen der Dialogform, nicht Klassi? Zierbare Dialoge und Überschneidungen mit anderen Textsorten

This chapter discusses the boundaries of the dialog form, dialogues cannot be classifiable and dialogues that overlap with other types of test. The first few texts discussed here are ones for which the dialog form is repeated and includes no features of any of the other types. Subsequently, the chapter discusses works that have a clearly visible dialog structure, but nevertheless integrate in any group make, or are attributable to a non dialogue text type. Medieval Latin prose dialogues are not a collection of smaller units, but designed as a unitary works. They display uniformity that can be achieved by various means. The chapter discusses these dialogues citing examples from several works and people, including De laudibus Dominae nostrae Sancte Marie (R32F) of Ramon Lull, whose works display a narrative framework and constant figures.
