These online courses are designed for large-scale participation, freely available with free access to all course materials, available through any web browser on any mobile device or computer The talk summarizes the main features of MOOCs, the history and the place of MOOC in Educational Delivery Models. The major players in the MOOC Universe and the two branches of MOOC, namely the The Stanford and MITx version and the rhizomatic version, are discussed. The second part of the talk deals with the future of MOOC, and expected advantages and disadvantages, the possible business orientation and the author's view, expectations and suggestions are summarized.
