It is this kind of movement that enables the oscillating wall stirrer to implement, in a very easy and successful way, a hybrid stirring strategy combining source position stirring together with the normal tuner stirring. The performance of the hybrid strategy is compared to the traditional oscillating wall stirrer technique by means of several performance indicators.
