Additional harmonics in the input current of the converter are introduced by the quasiperiodicity. These harmonics are spread to the area of frequencies lower than the switching frequency as well as between the multiple integers of the switching frequency. Low frequency AC components in quasiperiodicity caused by border collision bifurcation are higher than low frequency AC components caused by Hopf bifurcation.
