During this Pandemic, many companies offer their shares to the public or known as Initial Public Offering (IPO). This study aims to find out the highest abnormal returns of the issuers' stock after the IPO during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The sample used in this study was 70 companies that IPO on the IDXafter pandemic status was declared in Indonesia, namely from April 15, 2020-November 25, 2021. This research is a descriptive quantitative research anddescriptive statistical analysis techniques was used to calculate abnormal returns and cumulative abnormal returns of each stock. The results showed that cumulatively, the highest abnormal return of 70 stocks within 20 months was owned by TECH shares in the technology sector with a cumulative abnormal return value of 23,562. Meanwhile, the lowest value is owned by DEPO shares in the consumer cyclicals sector with a cumulative abnormal return of 0.624. 摘要

根据2020年第12号总统令,2020年4月13日宣布了新冠肺炎大流行。在这次大流行期间,许多公司向公众发行股票,或称为首次公开发行(IPO)。本研究旨在找出新冠肺炎大流行期间发行人IPO后股票的最高异常收益。本研究中使用的样本是在印度尼西亚宣布大流行状态后(即2020年4月15日至2021年11月25日)以idx上市的70家公司。本研究是一种描述性定量研究,采用描述性统计分析技术计算每只股票的异常收益和累计异常收益。结果表明,20个月内累计异常收益最高的是科技板块的TECH股,累计异常收益值为23,562。与此同时,消费周期板块的DEPO股票拥有的价值最低,累积异常收益为0.624。这项研究的结果可以作为投资者在Covid-19大流行等长期爆发期间投资IPO股票的考虑因素。
