At the same time, the Internet of Things (IoT) technology is gradually being widely adopted and used. Increasing amounts of data are being produced on such devices with the expectation that they will provide edge compute resources. The question is which container technologies offer the most performant system suitable to IoT devices. In this work, we benchmark a range of container technologies on IoT devices and evaluate their performance.
