WYBRANE WŁAŚCIWOŚCI KOMPOZYTÓW CEMENTOWYCH Z DODATKIEM ROZDROBNIONYCH PYŁÓW POLIPROPYLENOWYCH
The use of production waste in the concrete technology has an impact on reducing environmental pollution. The article presents the results of tests to check the impact of polypropylene dust, obtained from production waste, on selected properties of cementitious composite. Gravel concrete was tested, to which 1 to 5% of the polypropylene dust was added. The change in compressive strength, water absorption, capillarity under pressure and changes in pore characteristics have been checked. As a result of the research it was found that the applied polypropylene dust affected the tested properties and its effect was related to the amount of dust. The optimal amount of polypropylene dust was associated with the tested feature of the cementitious composite.
