The SRMB klystron is improved from the conventional multiple beam klystron (MBK) and annular beam klystron (ABK). It has the advantages of both of the two types. In this paper, the SRMB electron gun was simulated and analyzed using two different software, CST and CHIPIC. This paper gives the design of the SRMB electron gun.
