摘要

本文研究了基于XML的Web数据挖掘的基本方法和技术，描述了数据挖掘的分类和过程，以及XML的相关技术。在此基础上，设计了XML在Web数据挖掘中的应用系统，具体给出了系统结构和功能结构，最后，基于MXL技术实现了Web日志挖掘，并对主要算法进行了改进。
