To answer the research questions, the researcher adopted the descriptive survey approach, and the questionnaire as a research instrument. The research population consisted of all the female students studying in the early childhood departments at Shaqra University amounting (1270) students. The research was conducted on a random sample of (300) female students and the researcher used the questionnaire as a research instrument. The outcomes indicated that there is medium-level agreement among the female students on the problems facing female students in early childhood departments at Shaqra University which affect their academic performance, where economic and social problems come in the first place, followed by psychological problems, and finally, academic problems came as the least problems facing female students in early childhood departments.
