Then a noise-insensitive 2D blind system identification (BSI) algorithm using the computationally efficient 2D SE algorithm is proposed for the estimation of 2D linear shift-invariant (LSI) systems. Moreover, a texture synthesis method (TSM) using the proposed BSI algorithm is proposed for texture image synthesis.
