Motivated by bounded confidence models, we propose an extended Taylor model in which the influence graph is built based on the confidence levels of individuals. Furthermore, we establish a link between structural controllability of this model and containment of individuals’ opinions by the sources. In addition, an algorithm is proposed to find the minimum values of the confidence levels ensuring that structural controllability and containment can be achieved.
